Meet Irene

Irene Came to see me after feeling like she had lost control of her weight. She felt bloated and sluggish, she was craving the "wrong" foods and felt that she desperately needed to do something about her health.
Towards the end of 2015, Irene decided to participate in an 8 week fitness challenge, during this time she also wanted to make some healthy diet changes. We worked on a flexible, healthy eating plan which allowed Irene to achieve her goal with ease and maintain it long term. Her bloating disappeared, her energy improved and best of all Irene began to feel happy again. This is what she has to say:

My name is Irene and this is my story.

For 20 years I was very health conscious. I exercised, jogged daily and was at my fittest. However, in January 2013, I sustained an injury to my right wrist which resulted in me severing all, but one of my tendons. I wasn't able to use my wrist for 2 full weeks and it took a year for me to even be able to use it to its near full potential! It began to get me down and I lost all motivation to exercise and started eating unhealthy foods. I lost my routine and slowly started putting on weight! I would try so many different diets, including crash diets, commercial diets and even pills. I would lose weight very quickly but would gain it all back and more once I tried to eat "normal" again.

Although I already knew the best way to lose weight and keep it off was healthy eating and exercise, due to my lack of motivation, I wasn't able to put it into practice! That's when I realised, I needed extra help and motivation from someone who's a professional to help me once and for all!

I saw a story from "Renew Health" about healthy eating and I immediately contacted Christina Ettore and made an appointment. I was at my lowest point. I cried telling Christina my story and I cried again when I was leaving her office as she finally helped me see the light and get me back on track.
Christina asked about my daily eating habits and suggested a healthy food plan to follow that suited me and my lifestyle. She would text me every few days for encouragement and advice. Christina also insisted I contact her any time I started feeling down, or having a bad day with the wrong foods.

With the help of Christina and my Personal Trainer, Joel Cuenca, from 'Anytime Fitness', Campbelltown, I was able to lose my weight and keep it off, become fitter and gain back my motivation. I finally feel happy and comfortable within myself. I would never have been able to achieve my goals if it wasn't for Christina's support and her healthy food plan. I owe it all to her and Joel.
